We love going to Hwy 55 in Lancaster. The staff is always friendly, the food is good, and the ice cream is awesome.

First time ever eating at a Hwy 55. The idea and atmosphere itself is cool. The burger and fries I had were better than a regular burger joint and prices were what one would expect for an increase in quality. The place was pretty busy and all the tables stayed filled. The waitress was nice and helped me with my questions about what people liked to eat there. Once I got my food however she never came back to check on us. I wanted to get a refill and also try their ice cream. It was also strange to see a little five year old girl, who was very nice btw, wandering around. She must have belonged to one of the employees. She helped clear tables sometimes and even gave another visiting boy a piece of candy as a gift. In between helping she would sit on the floor and eat her burger and fries that several times her basket got slightly kicked by herself and passing waitresses.

My family loves going to Hwy 55 to eat. The burgers, chicken strips, and hot dogs are awesome. We also love getting the frozen custard milkshakes. Those milkshakes are the best in town, hands down. The place is always very clean, including the restrooms.
One thing I really like about this business is how good customer service is. The servers there are very attentive and great with the kids. If there is ever an issue, they are very quick to fix it and do what they can to make it right. You can tell that the owner of the place takes customer service very seriously, and it shows. -

Exceptional service and food.. our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were welll taken care of. There were 10 in our party and she made sure we had everything we needed.. we will for sure be back..
